Launch recap: Scroll down to review live updates from the Tuesday, Oct. 15, liftoff of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral on the Starlink 10-10 mission.

There's another SpaceX launch on tap from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, right on the heels of Monday's lunchtime Falcon Heavy liftoff on NASA's Europa Clipper mission.

Welcome to FLORIDA TODAY Space Team live coverage of this morning's Starlink 10-10 mission. SpaceX is now targeting 2:10 a.m. EDT — 36 minutes later than originally scheduled — to send up a Falcon 9 from Launch Complex 40. The rocket will deploy a batch of 23 Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.

The Space Force's 45th Weather Squadron forecasts 95% odds of "go for launch" weather, noting that "beautiful and pleasant weather will continue through the next few days as high pressure lingers across the Gulf of Mexico and Florida Peninsula."

No Central Florida sonic booms are expected. After soaring skyward along a northeasterly trajectory, the rocket's first-stage booster will target landing aboard a SpaceX drone ship out at sea just more than eight minutes after liftoff.

Update 2:05 a.m.: SpaceX's launch webcast hosted on X (formerly Twitter) is now posted above, right below the countdown clock.
