Amid uncertainty over space agencies’ plans for future Venus exploration, enthusiasm for a private-sector mission grows

The liftoff of an Electron rocket, built by the aerospace company Rocket Lab. The company has plans to send a privately built space probe to Venus onboard another Electron, although a launch date for that mission has yet to be finalized.
