How To Organize Your Week According To The Planets
Of course, while it's fun to see who you might end up with according to your sign, there's an even simpler way to use the cosmos to your advantage. As astrologer Jennifer Freed, Ph.D.
Friday is ruled by Venus, the planet of romance, so schedule your girls' night out or even a romantic dinner date for this night. Next, Saturday is governed by Saturn, the planet of responsibility, which makes this a good day for cleaning up around the house and planning for the week ahead.
Jersey Skies: Moon meets giant planets, a sneaky meteor shower and daylight saving time - ...

The moon once again will pass the giant planets. On Nov. 1, you will find the gibbous moon next to Saturn. To see them together, face the southern sky as soon as it gets dark. Saturn will be the pinpoint of light above the moon. You will be able to view them until about 11:30 p.m.
Our Search for Habitable Planets Just Got a Lot Narrower, Study Suggests - ExtremeTech
In the past few decades, astronomy has gone from speculating about the existence of planets outside our solar system to identifying more than 5,000 of them.
The study focused on an exoplanet called GJ 1252b, which orbits an m-dwarf star (sometimes called a red dwarf) just 66 light years away. That’s right next door in astronomical terms.

Sarah Hörst wants to find weird things on other planets and moons. Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, will be the subject of Hörst’s Discover Science lecture on December 1.
A story about a haunted protoplanetary disk… | astrobites
Title: Sulphur monoxide emission tracing an embedded planet in the HD 100546 protoplanetary disk
Authors: Alice S. Booth, John D. Ilee, Catherine Walsh, Mihkel Kama, Luke Keyte, Ewine F. van Dishoeck, Hideko Nomura
Note from the author of the bite: haunted disks and ghost planets are not actual astronomical terminology. This terminology was made up to go along with the spooky theme of the bite
'Potentially Hazardous' Monster Asteroid Is The Largest Seen in Years : ScienceAlert
It measures roughly 1.5 kilometers (nearly 1 mile) across, and is on an orbit that may, in the future, bring it close enough to Earth to pose a problem.
The other two asteroids have paths that are entirely, and safely, closer to the Sun than Earth's orbit. That doesn't make their discovery any less exciting, adding to a census of hard-to-find objects that will allow us to better characterize the population of near-Earth objects.
Mars Is Currently In Retrograde – No, It Has Nothing To Do With Your Star Sign | IFLScience
For the thousands of years that humans believed Earth was the center of the universe, a puzzling fact about the heavens was the motion of the planets. They all move in one direction except every once in a while, they appear to stop, move backwards for a bit, and then revert to their normal path.
