Seeing the Solar System, by Dennis Mammana | Creators Syndicate

Many celestial phenomena excite stargazers, but few are as cool as the one you can see during the next two weeks. Your only challenge will be forcing yourself to head outdoors before sunrise!

If you do, and if you have a very low eastern horizon, you should be able to spot all the visible planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) in order of their distance from the sun. Quite a rarity indeed!

This spacecraft will study a comet that is starting its journey in inner Solar System - SCIENCE News

The European Space Agency (ESA) has approved a new mission to visit a comet and other interstellar objects that have just started their journey into the inner Solar System. The Comet Interceptor will be launched with the Ariel exoplanet mission in 2029.

The probe aims to explore a comet that has spent little time in the inner Solar System, or is possibly visiting it for the first time. The spacecraft will build on the work done by Rosetta and Giotto probes that both visited 'short-period' comets.
