UK Space Agency announces funding for future Moon exploration

Companies will develop communication and navigation services as part of the European Space Agency's Moonlight programme, which aims to launch a constellation of satellites into orbit around the Moon from 2028.

The funding will allow for a range of Moon exploration projects and allow astronauts, rovers, science experiments, and other equipment to communicate, share large amounts of data – including high-definition video – and navigate safely across the lunar surface.

Panel seeks French help on space push

The House's telecommunications, digital economy and society (DES) committee met the French Ambassador to Thailand, Thierry Mathou to discuss the prospect of ramping up Franco-Thai cooperation in space technology.

DES committee vice president, Settapong Malisuwan, said yesterday the discussion, which took place last week, was followed by talks about launching a France-Thailand Year of Innovation 2023.
